Maura - Duke University

Maura is a senior here at Duke University and there is yet to be a day when I meet Maura on campus and her smile and joie de vivre don't lift up my mood. Though it's mid-October and most northern states are already well into the fall season, North Carolina weather has been amazingly summery. Maura's outfit preempts the coming of fall through the cardigan while still maintaining a summery air by pairing it up with a skirt.

Multi-colored Buttons - Ognjen - Duke University

Ognjen or Oggy is an exchange student from Bosnia and Herzegovina. What I noticed when meeting him for the first time was his style and confidence. It seems that a lot of guys in the U.S. have yet to feel comfortable with the newest trends that hover on the slimmer and snugger side of fit, however for Oggy, myself or most European guys it's nothing out of the ordinary.

Kim - Duke University

Kim is one of my dearest friends and ever since I first met her I saw that her sense of style is unique and quite different from other girls' on campus. Kim, just like me, is an International Student and she hails from Rome, infused with everything that's good in Italian fashion. She writes for her own style blog MeshMode.

Kim is wearing a nice, summery - Safari-themed outfit. Anyone who might object to wearing white after labour day, should know that this rule is not only outdated but also does not apply to any country otuside of the U.S.

Serena - Duke University

Serena, just like Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw is from Connecticut and now lives in New York. While at Duke she majored in Art History and Visual Theory. Her unique personality and fashion sense make her ideal for the debut of Campus Sartorialist. Visit her Art Critique and Analysis blog at UppercaseQ.com

Serena Qiu is wearing a a black dark navy chevron V-neck sweater covered in a navy cardigan over blue jeans and blue rubber slippers flats. She accessorizes it with a golden globe chain, a golden watch and a blue brown trim shoulder bag.
