Photo taken by Monika Oliver, one of the Campus Sartorialist contributors at the University of Alberta She is a fourth year Biological Sciences student who has always had an interest in fashion and design. She describes herself as being "particularly interested in the fit and construction of clothing. Canadian winters are unpredictable and it is not always easy to dress appropriately for the weather and remain fashion forward. I set myself apart with bold scarves, statement shoes, and an eclectic collection of accessories. Most recently, I have been contributing to the U of A’s new online magazine, The Wanderer where I attempt to represent student style and the most note-worthy trends of the season."
Campus Sartorialist & Dirty Richmond
Richmond, capital of the commonwealth of Virginia, is home to VCU, the University of Richmond and many other colleges and universities. What many of you don't know is that Richmond is a up-and-coming city for fashion and culture, having even been dubbed the "next hipster city" (Lauren Modery - Austin Culture Map).
One of Richmonders' favourite local blogs is Brian McDaniel's Dirty Richmond. One of the best dressed men in Richmond, Brian, a VCU School of Business alumnus, spends his free time walking the streets of RVA and taking pictures of unique and fashionable people. We are lucky to have Brian McDaniel join our Campus Sartorialist team and be able to get a first-row look at college style in Richmond.
Be on the lookout for some of Brian's awesome photos over the summer!
